SHARE:

Life is an adventure and let’s treat it as that! Below are last month’s Beyond Mom’s favorite spots in NYC. We know you’re always on the look out for fabulous places to brunch, have a glass of wine, sweat or just to discover something new. If you haven’t been before or if you need a reminder, add these to your “must enjoy” list…and yes this is a to-do list you deserve to have.

Stephanie Rapp, Co-founder of Embody Wellness

For healthy and family friendly breakfast and lunch spots Stephanie suggests:

Le Pain Quotidien (various locations), Mulberry & Vine  at 73 Warren Street and Gee Whiz at 295 Greenwich Street.

For nights out for cocktails and dinner Stephanie swings by:

Santina at 820 Washington Street and Bar Cyrk at 88 Thomas Street. “My friends used to call me their personal Zagat – I always knew about the newest openings, always trying new places and finding the hidden gems.”

For the perfect Beyond Mom day Christine turns to:

Butcher’s Daughter at 19 Kenmare Street (food), Cap Beauty at 238 West 10th Street (beauty), Aire Ancient Baths at 88 Franklin Street (date night!), Pratima Spa at 110 Greene Street  (spa time) + Jivamukti Yoga at 841 Broadway (me time)

For Beyond workouts:

“Yoga, Pure Barre and online workouts/dvd’s: Tracy AndersonPhysique 57 and Body By Simone are my go-to workouts. I’ve done the Beachbody series. Many days I only have 30 minutes to squeeze in a workout so I get creative and inspired via my online workouts.”

For a delicious meal in or out Ana turns to her roots:

“I am from Mexico, so I have a soft spot for spicy food.  I love cooking it so I buy Mexican ingredients at Tepeyac Grocery on E103 and Lexington to cook at home or go to my friend’s yummy, authentic Mexican restaurant Fonda in Chelsea.”

“For cocktails I love anything mixed with St.Germain liquor.  My cocktail dates with my husband are either downtown at Pravda or at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel bar. These have become a classic for us.”
