Another week, another weigh-in!
This week has been a whirlwind. Hubby lost a job and got a job and I’m still in training and trying to do this other thing I absolutely don’t enjoy a few hours a day that’s also a side gig. On top of that we have exercise and food and fitness stuff.
The irony? The fitness is – beyond a shadow of a doubt – the easiest part of my home life right now. Don’t get me wrong, I’m thrilled and feel blessed that the hubs was able to score another job right away! I’m thrilled to be in training for a job I can work as many hours as I need to (within reason) to make up the difference!
But I don’t have time to think about snacking or how much I’d like to go out to dinner somewhere. I don’t go near my box of wine because I am so tired all day that I’m drinking water and coffee to keep it together all day. The exercise helps with the energy, too, thankfully.
Last week there was a gain you might recall. I was unhappy about it, but wasn’t going to let that bring me down. Just because you stub a toe doesn’t mean you quit the race, right?!
So here are this week’s numbers!

Starting Weight: 318.4 lbs.
Difference from Last Week: -4 lbs.
Total Weight Lost: 14 lbs.
Percentage of Body Weight Lost to Date: 4.4%
So it looks like I”m not retaining water anymore, right?! I’m just going to keep on keeping on and I have to say I’m really enjoying this process and being able to eat primal and have energy and I gotta tell you – no grains makes me look so much less PUFFY! I have only lost 14lbs, but it looks like so much more just because I’ve lost the puff that the grains were giving me.
While I don’t recommend my diet plan to anyone else, I think that whatever you find that your body LOVES you should stick with that. I believe that some people are just born vegans, they glow from it! But when I was vegan for a month my body hated it so much. Primal? My body just shines with the happiness it feels from the food I eat and the water and iced tea and coffee I drink.
Listen to your body. It knows. It SO knows.

Great job on the weight loss and your great attitude!!! Glad your diet is working for you!
I am with on the way of weight loss – whatever works for one, doesn’t work for the other. Find something that works, hold on to it and don’t let it go. Way to go on your loss
LOVE that you are loving on Primal! You are totally kicking butt! and LOVE the KAPOW!!!!
Thank you
I try to snazz up the picture because scale pics are so boring. LOL
Woo-hoo! Great job. I really think you are on a roll and the amazingly shrinking Jenny is going to knock all our socks off! So proud of you… too tired for wine, even. Congrats on the job front, sorry about the hubby. Hope he finds his place in things. Hope you have an amazing week ahead for shining (with all that tea and coffee!)
Every week keeps getting better. I just keep my chin up, my attitude as positive as possible, and don’t let things I can’t eat come into my house! LOL
You’re doing AWESOME! Love the kapow!
Thanks
Way to go Jenny! I think I’ve mostly gained since the pre stuff started, lol. 4.4% is sweet!
It’s ok…there’s still MONTHS left to go!!!
