The short answer to this question is, “Anything.” (alternate answer would be, “Everything!”)
But really…nothing is the more accurate answer.
Is this supposed to be positive? Nothing could be positive – goodness knows I have enough going on right now that one more thing would be craziness. Especially if you include the “irons in the fire” I’m waiting on to hear more about.
Nothing sounds so negative, though, so let’s put that a different way…
I could start paring down everything I do today. I could stop being crazy-busy all the time today. I could relax today. I could plateau today. I could give up today.
Or I could continue to be grateful for all the opportunities in my life today. I could high-five my husband for our mastery of work/life balance. I could post on Facebook or Twitter and thank them all for being part of my life’s journey.
That one is the winner, of course. But I wouldn’t have thought to do it if I hadn’t worked through this thought exercise! So thanks again, Kick in the Blog, you inspired me!
