Puppy: Day Two
Oh wow.
The new puppy sleeps, like, all the time. It’s awesome! When she’s not sleeping she’s playing in the yard or following me around. Love it, love it, love it.
I, on the other hand, do not sleep all the time…which is less awesome. It’s just a pregnancy thing – the bigger the baby gets and the more it moves, the less I sleep. No one’s fault but my own, so I’m not looking for pity. I know there are women out there who love being pregnant, but I am not one of them. I’m only in it for the end result.
But…we’re now at our total pet limit. Except for fish that the turtle can eat. And snails.
Tomorrow I’ll even try to write a cohesive post, but for now, my brain is dead and I am tired and going to bed, hopefully to get a full night’s sleep!
My fingers are so crossed.

We also call her “not a beagle” – because she isn’t. Beagles are vocal and howly and drive-you-nutty…this is a Basset Hound. Much quieter, but still with those hound eyes and ears that make you want to snuggle her until you can’t take it anymore.
