Good Morning – You Want Me to What?

I’m taking some time this week to focus.

The financial writing over at Frugal Bliss is going well, and if I could put down the books I’m reading on investing and stocks, I’d be able to write more entries.

On the homestead front, the girls are being frisky this week and that has reduced my ability to concentrate.

But I need to get focused because there is too much going on.

This weekend I have two big reviews to take care of for a digital camera (for kids) and that bike that’s still in the box behind my office door. Because I want to get on camera the utter joy on Sadie’s face when she sees, you know, her new BIKE.

I need to come back to the center and look at everything I’m doing and focus those areas down so it takes less time to do more work. Just remembering everything I have to do in a day is daunting, even with a to-do list.

Somewhere along the way I got myself caught up in a lot of busy work and not enough activity focused on income-generation.

I’ll have a more interesting post later, I promise. I ran into someone from High School…see…that’s good blog!

Oh, I feel you. I’m so swamped in the catching-up sort of busy work that I’m not really moving forward at all. It’s such a frustrating feeling, and I’m about to hit the chuck-it-all stage and decide that what I haven’t accomplished couldn’t have been so important anyway, else I’d have it done by now. Pro: clean slate, ability to look ahead and not get bogged down. Con: I usually miss something that *was* important, but I don’t realize it’s important until a month later, which restarts the cycle of catching up.

Sigh. We need wives, assistants, and wine.

Got something to say?
