Choices Make My Head Want to Explode

On one part of my desk there are three books on the stock market I need to read.

Over there by the printer is the stack of three books on writing I need to read.

Here I am…stuck in the middle with you. :)

I consider writing a full-time job. I consider investing a full-time job. Then, of course, the children are a full-time job. OSHA is going to come shut me down for not taking the required breaks and lunches that working a million hours a week requires by law. *grin*

So how should I prioritize? I know the stock market will not look even close to the way it does now for another twenty years at least (if history is accurate). But to have more money to invest in the market I need the money that comes from writing.

Chicken…meet egg…talk amongst yourselves…

On the surface it seems obvious – read the work books because you need the money from the work to invest. But the time lag between making the money and the investing of the money due to having to learn about it could, in an unstable market, be the difference between profit and loss. It’s really enough to make my head swim.

Dance class went well yesterday. She danced with her little stuffed mermaid (they needed to bring “baby dolls” to dance with this week) and had a great time. She cannot wait to go back. We’re using this opportunity to help her learn about the calendar. “How many days until dance class now, Sadie?” Is the most commonly asked question in the house these days!

I’ll try to come up with a more interesting entry later. Something deep and meaningful. Oh yeah…
