Poor Abby! I'm sure that she will be fine, but that has got to suck. Becca and I both hope she heals up quickly.

Sounds like a good reason to break out the box of doughnuts, turn on Sesame Street, and snuggle on the sofa under a blanket with some great books and the dolls nearby. During the funny parts of watching Elmo, you'll just have to break yourself away to use that laptop and the girls probably won't even notice.

Hope it all goes smoothly, Jenny. And her ankle mends quickly. We'll be thinking about you all.

Oh I'm sorry about your baby. My daughter broke her foot a few years ago. She tripped in music class - imagine that?

Anyway, she didn't cry she just kept telling the teacher she knew something was wrong and it felt broken. So the teacher called me. I went to get her she looked fine, no swelling nothing. But she said I really think it is broken and I think we should go to the doctors. So I took this wise 4th grader to the podiatrist to find out she was correct it was broken. Same thing, hairline fracture only hurt when she put pressure on it.

Oh! Oh! Oh! This is my first time at your blog (lovin' it!) - and I'm doing a little namaste type bow to you - your patience as you went through this shines out!

Hope the four weeks go by super fast and your sweet girls can get back quickly to running and jumping and entertaining themselves a little.

Poor baby! I can't imagine how hard that will be for her to even understand why she can't walk and run and play like normal.

On the other hand I found myself laughing out loud at your Photoshop comment. Ha!

Hope the next 4 weeks fly by with little grief. You all have my prayers. ;)

Oh man, that's rough. I broke my wrist while roller skating as a kid and it hurt like heck. Hang in there, mom! I keep waiting for one of my kids to break something. It's nothing short of a miracle that Cassie hasn't - that child is scared of absolutely nothing.
