Meme | 7 weird tings about me.

This afternoon, I was tagged by Shannon at Single WAHM (that’s Work At Home Mom, for those of you new to the blog!) to share 7 weird things about me.

I find this difficult because as you know, I’m no stranger to sharing weird things about myself and there are a LOT of weird (quirky) things that make up the essence that is distinctly me. (I know I just made it sound like I kind of smell bad…that whole distinctive essence thing…I’m classy like that!)

For the seven I tag (you unlucky folks!) here are the rules:

1. Link to the person’s blog who tagged you.
2. Post these rules on your blog.
3. List seven random and/or weird facts about yourself
4. Tag seven random people at the end of your post and include links to their blogs.
5. Let each person know that they have been tagged by posting a comment on their blog

  1. By the end of 2008 I plan to have a predominately rockabilly wardrobe.
  2. I’m phobic of crowds, and almost always get sick after having attended a large event.
  3. I’m an introvert. There have been professional tests proving this.
  4. It took me a long time to realize I was popular. I still don’t believe it sometimes.
  5. I searched for cateye glasses for ten years before I found them. In case you haven’t clicked on the About Jennydecki link yet – I own black cat-eye glasses with white rhinestones on the tips.
  6. My other pair of glasses is blue with light green rhinestones. I do not know why, but I call them my Brenda Starr glasses. They make me feel very writer-y. (I think they may be magical.)
  7. While I have amazing self-esteem, my ego is crap. I’m like the opposite of a narcissist. It’s like I love me, but constantly underestimate myself. Weird, right? *grin*

The seven people I choose to tag (in no particular order, I’m not playing favorites here!) are:

  1. Jenn Givler of Create a Thriving Business
  2. Wendy Cooper of Freelance VA
  3. John Herman of Succeeding Steps
  4. Yamisi Daniel of inTouch VA
  5. Patty Dost of Time is of the Es-Cents
  6. Sally Kuhlman of Virtual Simplicty
  7. Angela Wills of Star VA

This was one time consuming meme! First linking the person that tagged me, and then commenting on all the blogs of the people I’m tagging. Whew! But…it was fun, thanks Shannon.

Loved your answers! I agree, while time consuming, I enjoy these. I just hate picking people because nobody wants to be the one to be picked. LOL

It is hard to come up with stuff to say about myself sometimes, but it’s fun all the same. ROFL

I never would have guessed you are an introvert and what is a rockabilly wardrobe?

    *laugh*

I kept seeing people on Twitter saying “I just can’t think of anyone else” and I’m right there all Rudolph-Style like “Why not pick me?”

So even though I protest…I enjoyed doing it because I love any excuse to be introspective :-)

    Thanks again!

Oh! I edited the original post to link to one of the rockabilly clothing stores I plan on shopping at pretty soon….

Thanks Jenn!! Can you believe I’ve never been tagged! :)

Once my blog admin decides to let me in again I’ll definitely work on that post!

LOVE the clothes… so YOU and they’ll match this site so you know I’ll wanna see some pics!

You ROCK!! Thanks for taking my meme virginity!

Ah Jenn … I find it quite difficult to believe #2 (”I’m phobic of crowds, and almost always get sick after having attended a large event.”). You??? phobic of crowds??? I attended a fairly large event with you in 2006 … in fact, you were my roomie at the VA Conference in Dallas. I don’t remember you excusing yourself to the restroom to get ill after any of the sessions or outings! If you were phobic in any way in Dallas, you certainly disguised it well. But phobic or not, you are a blast to be around, and are much more popular than you think!

Hey you, just realized why your atypicalva feed hasn’t updated in eleventy thousand years on my feed reader..cuz ya moved!

I knew you were a rockabilly girl! But my dear, re: your post referencing skinheads, you should know that skinheads aren’t racist and that the first skins were largely Jamaicans living in London who listened to really great music and wore really sharp looking suits and had jobs, unlike the hippies of the day, and the reason for the name was because they wore their hair short in protest of said hippies. Then the cool white kids jumped on the bandwagon and started sporting Ben Shermans, Fred Perrys, boots and braces.

    There. Now I feel better.

    Love the new blog!
